bye suomi

today i said goodbye to Finland for now. oh i must admit it was sad to leave it - all the amazing people and places. especially the last few weeks. so much summer fun and being outside. however i won't miss the mosquitos and hypodermic needle bites on parts of my body i didn't think were possible.

so, i haven't had a chance to upload photos yet, i will try to post some tomorrow if i can. right now i am in Umeå, Sweden, after 12 hours on buses and 3 hours of sleep last night. this is what the next few days are looking like:

-going to the Migration Serrvice tomorrow to pay for my residence permit extension
-getting on another 8 hour bus (or so) to Mo I Rana, Norway
-catching the ferry to Storselsoy

i bought my tickets to Iceland yesterday too, flying out of Oslo on the 31st of July, then back to Copenhagen at the end of August. the rough plan then is to fly to Greenland from there, then fly back to Denmark, then to Montreal, Canada. back to North America. a few days ago was the 5 month mark of my trip and now it's gonna get crazy, so many countries still to see. i'm off to bed now, really i will try to do justice to all of my adventures in the past few weeks soon...
