finlandia gardens
a few snaps from my visit yesterday to the Finnish Folk Art Museum in Pasadena, the only one of it's kind outside of Finland. it was actually closed, but a sympathetic fellow museum book store employee from the Historical Museum let me in to take a few photos for reference anyway. kiitos!

I can't believe that place exists! How neat!
OMG, I just met a rad Scandinavian major from UCLA named Kim! She's Latina too (grew up in Calexico). I am so happy to know her because even though I am in Sweden among exchange students, I was the only Scandinavian major here all summer. We can totally dork out together! It's very exciting! And when she goes back to LA you guys can hang out.
